I'm thrilled to share a few images from my final wedding of 2014 - and boy, was it an incredible wedding to end the year! First, a little background to this couple...I met Casey my junior year of high school. We attended a slightly dorky leadership conference and while Casey and I spent the weekend forming a fast friendship, her best friend (and maid of honor), Ellen, was also there, forming a friendship with my sister. I still remember Casey telling me over 5 year ago now about the boy she'd been dating for some time... and yes, of course, it was Clint ;) The four of us girls became close in the course of just two days and then we went back to our little lives in our hometownes about 45 minutes apart.
Some time went by but Casey and Ellen came to watch me when I starred in a high school theatre program...needless to say, these two girls were such sweethearts and always went the extra mile to keep our friendship in tact. This would probably explain why Casey's bridal party was the largest I've ever photographed. She really is one of those people who lights up a room and has a genuine, sweet and contagious personality. It was a joy finally getting to meet Clint when I photographed their engagement photos back last summer. It was obvious how well Casey and Clint are for each other and I wish the Clays the very best with the start of their new life together!
Here are a few favorite images from their special day with their ceremony taking place at Jones Chapel at Meredith College and their reception at the Garden on Millbrook.
